This lovely country pub in Tideswell situated in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District will always give you a warm welcome with its roaring log fires and quality homemade food.

We have a fine selection of cask condition real ales supplied by local breweries including Peak Ales of Chatsworth and Thornbridge Brewery of Bakewell. We also welcome well behaved dogs.

We have five tastefully decorated en-suite rooms available including two twin rooms two double rooms and a romantic 4 poster bed. Families can also be catered for on request.

Tideswell is home to a beautiful 14th century church known locally as ‘The Cathedral of the Peak’ and as all essential amenities available.

Close to the historic market town of Bakewell and Buxton famed for its spring water. The stately homes of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are close by as are the caverns at Castleton.
There are plenty of picturesque walks in the area including Tideswell Dale, The Monsal Trail and The Limestone Way.
